Faqs
Will you tell me how to prepare?
Absolutely! As soon as you book your session, I will send you my exclusive PDFs, How to Prepare and The Wardrobe Guide, which have all the goods on what to expect and how to prep for your shoot.
We also have a styling consultation before your session where we chat about wardrobe options and more.
Do I need to bring my own clothing?
My client closet offers some select wardrobe options, including silky vintage slips, dramatic robes, and fantastic accessories. You are welcome to borrow anything you like! Most clients and Muses bring their own lingerie. I have worked with hundreds of people on wardrobe styling, and I have a thorough list of where to purchase items that will match the style you desire.

Do you retouch my images?
Retouching is completely custom! I am a professional high-end retoucher with 17+ years of experience. Retouching is an art unto itself and it is a big part of what I do, but some clients prefer to have no retouching at all.
Once you choose your favorite images, I will ask your preference and we will go from there. I can smooth skin, whiten teeth, and diminish wrinkles, blemishes, and stretch marks.
How far in advance should I book my session?
I normally schedule sessions 3-10 months in advance. If you want to shoot outdoors, consider the season that you want for your backdrop - spring, summer, fall, winter...
If you’re considering a pre-payment plan, you may consider booking a bit further out to spread out payments.
If you are doing the session to commemorate a special occasion, I recommend shooting at least 30 days before the final photos are needed; a lead time of 60 days is preferred.
What is the total cost?
As a Coven Muse, you will enjoy a $0 session fee (normally $500), as well as $500 off image collections for a savings of $1000. The session fee is waived in exchange for a signed model release.
There is a nonrefundable $99 (+ tax) booking fee, which will be applied as a credit toward your image collection purchase.
Collections are purchased separately, and with our flexible pre-session payment plans, payments can be as low as $30 per week.
On average our clients invest around $3,000 into their boudoir experience after their collection has been selected. However! We do have a lot of clients who just want to dip their toe in and try out a boudoir session before jumping into a larger collections. If you're wanting to try it out with something smaller, our collections start at only $1400 (after the discount is applied). This includes a Glass Folio Box with 5 art prints, along with your 5 matching digital files. It's the perfect collection to start out with or to accommodate any budget.

I want to make investing in yourself as easy as pie!
I offer INTEREST FREE pre-payment plans, which is a great way to get what you want without any extra fees. I set these up in-house and do not charge extra for them, so you can schedule your session 3, 6, or even 12 months out to help budget for your investment.
I also accept 12-36-month financing through all buy-now-pay-later options such as Afterpay, Affirm, Klarna, and PayPal Credit.
Where will we do the photoshoot?
I do all of my photo shoots in and around my vintage Victorian home studio, located in Stratford, Connecticut. Don't live in CT? No problem! A lot of my clients travel to me, and southern New England is a beautiful place to visit any time of year!
In addition to my studio sets and Garden, I also offer seaside and forest sessions.
